Max's group at the beach

Max flew into a big clump of palm trees, when she was close enough to the ground she pulled her wings in and dropped with a small thud onto the ground and looked up to see where the others where and how close they were behind her. Fang knew that they'd be heading south so hopfully he'd gone north. (that's what Max thought anyway) Max stretched her aching muscles, thinking aobut taking a nap right here in the shade of the palm trees on the nearly deserted beach.

Nudge flew down and tucked in her wings she missed Fang and not being able to talk about it was the worst thing you could do to a girl like her. She streched her arms out wide and grabbed some sand letteing it run through her fingers "fun" she mumbled and then wiped her hands off on her jeans and looked around the dull beach

Ari landed and awkwardly tucked in his wings. He leaned up aginst a tree, not sure what to do next. He offered Nudge a sympathetic glance and then became engrossed in his own thoughts. He still couldn't shake the feeling that it was his fault Fang left and that every one was unhappy because of him. How much better off they had all been when they thought he was dead! It might not have been his fault entirely. In fact, it probabally hadn't. Others had joined the flock as well ,but him, he had probabally just been the icing on the cake. Fang hadn't cracked before Ari became a tag along, now had he? "It's all my fault" Ari muttered quietly, almost inaudibly but not completely. He hadn't meant to speak aloud but he felt so bad... remorseful... stressed... and guilty...

nudge looked away from the beach at the sound "its not your fault its fang just being fang"

Ari looked attentively at Nudge as she began to speak. He attempted a smile but it came out more as a grimace. "Thanks" he muttered. He started thinking again, wondering why Fang couldn't give him a chance.

Max flinched at the repeated name, "Guys... please." She knew more feeling slipped into her words then she wanted to.

Nudeg looked away from, max she couldnt be mad at her forever but right now she was very angry at max for many many many reasons in place

"uff.." i said as ilanded not paying attention to any ones thougthts but my own.

"I'm sorry Max. I know it must be hard..." Ari attempted to syphathise and apolagize. He didn't know about her and Fang's relationship but he did know that they were close.

nudge walked over to a tree and cllimbed it she was bord and so was everyone else we were standing at a beach "max are we gonna do somthing"{ nudge said trying not to put her angryness in her voice

Max plopped down on the sand on her butt. "Nudge, you wanted to go to the beach. Here we are," Max said with irritation clear in her voice, "So go."

"Yeah, let's do normal beach stuff." Ari suggested, more cheerful than before.

"'''''''''''''im not in the mood to do somthing Beachy" Nudge jumped down went over to the edge of the becah put her hasnds together and made a sand ball and then set it down on the dry sand "{there i made the sand castle lets go do something"

"At least try..." Ari attempted to reason.

I will" nudge mumbled opening her backpack to get her swimsuit

"I'm 'gonna' go look for shells" Ari said aloud.

Max nodded and laid back in the sand, soaking up the sun.

nUDGE gOT INTO THE WATER

Ari went and began collecting sea shells.

Max got up, wiped her sandy hands off on her pants and started towards the beach calling "'I'll be back," over her shoulder to Nudge. She started off running but after a moment she realized how long she'd been running. Figurativly and literally, so she began walking instead. The cool waves rippled around her feet and chilled her. She wished everything were back to normal. Maybe she'd see Fang again, maybe she wouldn't. With a shuddered she shook the thought from her head, squinted her eyes and continued to walk along the wet edge of the water.

Max looked ahead and saw a shady spot under a tree and walked over to it then plopped down in the sand. she wasn't far from the others, she could still see them but she couldn't hear them. So she blissfully yawned and closed her eyes and laid donw.

nudge sat in the water

Fang walked underneath the shady tree. Realizing that he was still grasping Iggy's arm, he dropped it and plopped down looking over he saw ... her...Max.. "Crap." was all he could utter. "Oh crap ..." he said standing up now. He looked into the distance and saw the flock and Ari. Fang groweled quietly that he was still there.Fang stayed still knowing he could dissapear/blend.
