lol, well I'm not so sure a flock member will die. James Patterson just doesn't strike me as that kind of an author. Plus we have to remember he's writing for younger readers. His main concern is going to be amusing the readers, not providing an exciting story line as much as making them happy. I guess we shall see if I put my foot in my mouth though, won't we? =)

If Max died-The series would suck. Angel and Fang would be too depressed to lead, Nudge would just cry all the time and Nobody in their sane minds wants GASMAN as a leader, plus Iggy couldn't lead very well, if Angel died everything would go to hell, and if Jeb died, well Max would've lost a dad, a brother. Dr. Martinez came the closest to dying and she didn't. I'm glad she didn't. She was a leading character. ^.^
